Legal Topics: Divorce

There are a lot of potential pitfalls in processes like divorce, even in “simple” divorces. It pays to do your homework. For anyone researching family law issues in the state of Minnesota we often recommend the Minnesota Family Law Practice Manual, 3rd ed. (Lexis, 2001) Reserve Room KFM5494.A6 D3 2001. It outlines family law issues in the text, and the footnotes will lead you the statutes and leading cases. Volume 2 contains forms. This book and other Family Law Treatises and titles written for Non-Lawyers are available at the Law Library, most county law libraries and some public libraries.
